Use cases
Nesting software for your cutting process
The nesting engine is the same in every case. What changes is kerf, spacing and how the layout leaves your hands. Pick the process you actually run.
Laser cutting
Fiber, CO₂ and diode lasers. Kerf compensation at real beam width, spacing that accounts for heat distortion, and DXF export straight into LightBurn, RDWorks or LaserCut Pro.
Plasma cutting
CNC plasma tables, where kerf is measured in millimetres rather than tenths. Wider kerf handling, heat-affected zone clearance between parts, and DXF out to your plasma CAM.
Sheet metal fabrication
Steel, aluminium and stainless flat patterns. Import the DXF your CAD produces, nest across multiple sheets, and get a PDF report you can quote from.
CNC woodworking
Plywood and MDF panel work on a router. Lock rotation where grain direction matters, free it where it does not, and see what that choice costs you in material.

Don't take our word for it.
Upload one of your own DXF files and see the layout yourself. It's free and takes about two minutes.
